The '59 Sound

Seconds astray,
Something must be done
about those clocks.

Mesmerize me with your numbers,
because there is always a better time,
a better place for this to happen,
something should be done
about those clocks.

Time is wasting away,
Realize that i am here.
If not now,
then when?
Kill me with your answer,
leave the masses breathless.

Hola!

Plagued by everyone to update for the photos and what not. Alright so a heck lotsa things has happened. I can barely remember, hot damn. Major photospam to jog the memory a little bit!

This was from parents-teachers-conference a couple of weeks back when we ordered macdonalds and i became the mother/maid who had to order and collect food for everyone cause they were too darn useless.

of course, jac was only good for shouting 'act normal act normal!' whenever the teacher came by [technically we're not allowed to eat anywhere outside the canteen. how typical-catholic-school]
while a threw some random person's blouse over the entire cache of deep fried goodies.

catholic junior college. what else can i say?

I have no idea.

And this was CJC CROSS-COUNTRY 2009. i guess it was a pre-2.4-km run thing to make us 'revved up' and be all enthusiastic. Well i tried my best, but turns out a lost my competitive runner tag and ended up running the leisure route of 3.4km with a bunch of nutscases.

I can't even remember this dudes name.

One of the highlights was when we were in one of the 'forest-y' parts and this monkey lept down from a tree, next to the group of girls in front of us. Needless to say, this resulted in high-pitched screams and havoc ensued for a long while. Infact, while most of thought the monkey wanted to scratch our eyes out, it merely snatched away the plastic water bottle the girl was holding and ran away.

And wait, that wasn't even the best part.

Another girl behind us said 'Maybe the monkey wanted it to build it's nest.'

Wow. i mean, wow.

JASON MRAZ CONCERT

wicked. mind-blowing!
One of the best live shows I've ever had the opportunity to witness. The music was awesome, the company was great, and MRAZ. Omg. He was hotttt. I swear i could lick the sweat off him[no i'm just kidding, i wouldn't lick the sweat off anybody for a million dollars.]

The 150dollars was worth it. I kinda regret getting the overpriced merch that i am never going to wear because of its massive sizes, tho. D:

EVERYONE NEEDS A HAT WHEN MRAZ IS IN TOWN!

Anyway, we began to finalise our jump-over-bouncers-and-run-to-stage-front-plan when Cheryl came! We hovered around near the exit area. The view was pretty good, really. THeatre was packed by eight, full-house! Living proof that Singapore's listening to slightly better music.

When the band came out, the applause was overwhelming. But that was the extent off it! The crowd was like the crappiest ever. made out of middle-aged fogies and indie posers. That aside, security was bitch to get past. Randi barely had time to whip out her huge-ass camera and fully utilize her excellent photo-taking skills before the lady bouncer threatened to take the camera away. One guy behind said 'Someone's gotta get that pole out of her arse'. Which was crude, but a bit true.

Anyway. The gig was brilliant. Best was when mraz sang The Remedy/Wonderwall remix and did an opera part in Mr curiosity.

Kudos to the awesome jazz trio! sexy saxophone.

The final line-up. Some pictures credits to randi and clare!

Yes so that's all worth mentioning so far. It's going to be a hectic week because of all the concerts and the mini-gig we're playing at, PLUS all the CA tests. See you guys soon (hopefully!!)
