I MEGAPHONE.

I've got your heart in headlock
But you've gotten you mind in bedlam
all without my help,
now i'm proud.

So we welcome the week of doom. The weekend passed way to fast. So while people have been in and out of sorts[and their very exclusive ranges of sanity] and choking down volumes of biology text at home, i've been trying to find more productive study times that don't kill you as fast.

Oh SS was screwed up by the way.
Thursday was pretty alright. Whoever coined the holida title of Labour Day certainly thought of us ailing students, bless him. Studied at coffee bean with emilia around eleven. pretty quiet, in the morning and early afternoon and very condusive. Except for this ah lian and her boyfriend who happened to be sitting behind us. Exaggerated squeaky voice which came out of her throat in absurd volumes and squealing to her very quiet BF these few lines repeatedly. 'ehhhh i cannot findz this sumss lehz... help me pwease!' I hear potential breakup song playing.

All i want is my grande-decaffinated-pure-chocolate-ice-blended-without-whipped-cream, thank you very much.

Was feeling pretty tired by two. threw on my jacket and emi asked me why was i so tired all the time and why i felt so cold even though it was bleedin' hot.

Me: UGH i dont know. i sleep ALOT.
Emi: WHY?!
Me: i think i have acute leukemia.
Emi: Yeah right. Except that all the hairs from your stupid fringe aren't dropping because of you chemo.

as if there arent enough gags going around about that. -_-"

AND THEN AROUND THREE THIRTY... guess who showed up?!

*dramatic background music starts to blast.
Yes XQ and joy invaded our very private space[and domain!] and came to expo as well to study. coincidence much? I DONT THINK SO. haha. but it was still pretty good. emilia went off for some wedding at fourt thirty. boycott the sharks fins soup!

and we bought this disgusting fru-tea thing[three larges, yes.] that was quite horrid. To me and xq, that is. Joy actually enjoyed it alot. HAHA.

Another reminder, the orange julius at expo is DISGUSTING. ignoring the two workers there and they're extra-mousy hair+moustache package, the dude who was making the hotdogs used his bar fingers to scoop up the broiled hotdogs and to sluice it into the cold buns. And then take money after that. their drinks tasted VILE. it was terrible enough to put joy off ordering her nachos, and settled on BK instead.

Okay apparently joy loves looking up to Coffee bean signs. LOL.
There was this huge convention going on at the hall beside ours, so at around six all these groups of middle-aged to senior citizens came streaming past coffee bean and making an awful lot of noise. There was also this rather weird smell going around during tht period of time.

Joy: Eh, do you smell that?
Me: Yeah it smells funkay. Gah.
XQ: [extra loud] AI YAH, must be those old people over there.

XQ has absolutely no tact okay. One of these days, her gargutan mouth is going to land her[and those unfortunate, innocent people in the vicinity] into some major trouble, and i certainly dont want to be there. this caused a huge turn in the conversation. The usual stuff, growing old and blah. I DONT WANT TO GROW OLD. sixteen is such a horrendous age. I'm still waiting for peter pan and his whole rodent gang to arrive outside my double bolted windowsill.

Went for a family dinner, very groggy from the eight hour session at expo hearing xq TALK TO HERSELF about monsoons and lamina seasons, whatever heck that is.

FRIDAY. oh goodness, e math paper turned out to be a hella lot more worse then we thought it would be. But over that. Me and gladys went to pats to attempt to study bio, but we were so tired that we just flopped over our textbooks while gladys studiously went through her masses of notes. HAHA.

And thats me and pat sitting rather unglamly. i have come to take pat's house as my own now, since i can safely say i practically LIVE there. ahaha.
Watched alot of friends!
saturday was 'catching up on lost work' day but to little avail.
Dinner at T3. Was pretty cool, my second time only.
although i agree mostly to LKY doubts on whether those solar panels/wind turbos/fans-in-case-of-air-con-breakdown is practical, it makes pretty deco.

Ate a neat meal at harry's steakhous. Awesome food.

And watching the championship game with another two dozen spectators, swigging beer. It was quite dramatic actually, an exact picture of what you see in those carlsberg adverts, like when someone scores a goal, everyone leaps up and starts cursing/hi-fiving/hugging/shouting. My dad, being dad, was one of the loudest yellers, and the only want who swore in cantonese. My my. the angmohs seemed to find it rather amusing though. hmm.

Yes, if you may ask, those are socks.

Alright enough. back to the books.
