I wanna hold your glaaaand.

Today is gone,
and you're still sleeping tomorrow away,
On a bed of sunshine,
he's wasting away,
But for not too long i pray.

Summer came,
flickers in the sea and the world's still spinning,
just not the way you hoped it would be.
You've got to dance,
dance on the tables honey,
fall in love today.

So.
All night long,
we sang a song.
Crossing the golden sands.

How we enjoy long weekends. School holiday pride!

Saturday had a PW meeting in Toa-freaking-payoh, but HH was nice enough to give me a 45-minute allowance to come in late cause everyone else lived nearby. The rest of it, well you can pretty much guess (or laugh about. or gloat.) what happened. Shall spare you the dramatics and move on.

Music practise which was fun I GUESS although we lamented on the fact that Luki should have been playing drums this week instead of me, which is a major major difference. Luki you can suck it for not coming back earlier LIKE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO.

Anyway, he's back now, so he can jolly well take over all my scheduled-drum weeks. A small price/punishment to pay you know! Plus a hundred Krispy Kreme donuts, thanks.

MANPUKU is the shizzle. Boo to misers like the older Lee kids duo.

Sunday was mother's day AND my mother's birthday. Double pressure! So it was a day of way to much good food at way to expensive restaurants with way too many nosy relatives.

First meal at the acclaimed hotel. It wasn't that big a deal, just your average chinese food fare. Boring.

However, the bizarre statues/sculpture/artwork of undeterminable nature was rather interesting. brownie points for that!

Spot the difference! Awwww kidding mom!

Another dinner with dad's side. And then a rather imprompto sleepover at jenny's jennifer's!

Lotsa movies and ISLAND CREAMERY

My vunderful drawing of a suburban house on jennifer's tablet where she draws all her wonderful manga drawings like this:
ITS SO PRETTY INNIT. anyway jennifer, don't spaz when you see this up. And only cause you deleted the pic i took of the drawing you did last night on your tablet.

Long story. i though the tablet was like a laptop pad. Top ten loser moments, thanks for pointing it out jen!

Next morning i kept falling back to bed. Blame the constant rain (which to me, is sleep-inducing. I'M A CAT <>DAMN YOU MOE

Regarding jamming on wednesday,

nicholas says:
eh
luki can jam on wed
stacecake! says:
who's that? (emphasizing the fact that he has been absent for really really long)
nicholas says:
a drummer
not from the electric prunes
stacecake! says:
he/she has a weird name
nicholas says:
she
stacecake! says:
LOL
clever
anyway wed i might not be able to jam
nicholas says:
y????!!!!!!!
stacecake! says:
long story
okay cause my school right
nicholas says:
waaaaaaaaaaaaaa
dun your sch la
stacecake! says:
has this night study programme
LISTEN FIRST
nicholas says:
dun go la
oi
stacecake! says:
LISTEN!!!!!
nicholas says:
when finally can
u like that
stacecake! says:
I KNOW YOU ARE JAM-DEPRIVED
SO AM I
LISTEN TO MY STORY FIRST!!!
nicholas says:
ok
fine.
what.

Hilarious stuff. That's what you get after no jazz practise for two and a half months cause your drummer decided to hang out with his 'kor' in myanmar and play with his younger brother.

Anyway, the reason why i probably have to stay back on wednesday for the night study is because mom decided to be charitable and signed up for the CJC SNACK FRIENDS (yes i know. terrible name, much?) and has to stay back till nine. And I, being a filial daughter was thinking of staying back as well.

But we'll figure it out. afterall, its high-time we got back to jamming. :D
MIDNIGHT!

later, folks.

P.S. chinese orals tomorrow. Holy cows.

A Lesson in Romantics for the Average Lover.

Someone's watching for you,
delve behind the make-up,
its time to shake it up
boy.

This has been the worst week so far.
So the whole lecture thing has been blown completely out of proportion by some extremely annoying prick-resses (as coined by Amos) Amy, chin up yeah? Don't let them get you down.

I think we're all in need of a couple of good moments/laughs here, before we get to the long long weekend (holy guacamole, thank goodness!)

1. Amanda and I going crazy over a couple of badges. Ah, but where do they come from? Arrogance and Absolute-hotness. Frankly, she's more mental than i am. Keep the change, hon.

2. How entertaining the Math and Science week 'Finale' turned out to be. Not. We sat in Lecture theatre halls watching some geeks intelligent individuals mix sodiumcarbonatenitratesaltpotassiumnitridejiajfuihsiudhsa.

3. Maxxie's official metamorphosis into a woman. 'I'm so pretty, oh-so-pretty! So happy and pretty and gaayyyy!'

4. The conversation HH and I had online with CharSiewPau yesterday. Which went something like this:

HH: Eh so what is our PW group's number?
CSP: the number?
Me: Yeah, have to put on our PI.
CSP. 95673028.
Me & HH: o_o

5. The PI rush today, which was more than chaotic. Kieran, who announced that he forgot to bring his PI to school, was so calm it scared the heck out of us. For his forgetfulness, he was signed out of school early and got to skive off history AND mother tongue lessons to get a piece of paper at home. Wowwee.

And finally, its the weekend. Today went to United Square for lunch with c2, kenny and nickT. I swear the walk there can be classified as a HIKE. Doesn't help much that it was probably fifty degrees sheesh!

And then dental which absolutely sucks.
Looking forward to the next three days to sleep. ALOT.

Gossip!

Holler for the skies,
maybe they'll hear you tonight,
This will be a dream worth dreaming.
I promise.

Maidens in scarlet-clad,
They are waiting for you,
across the garden's breath.
He drops his silver hand,
and kisses hers,
what a gentleman,
How they coo his name.

Because we live to eat. - Sushi Buffet!

damnnn.
Sylvia's patented trademark of eating temakis. Extremely hilarious!

Awwww poor sylvia!

Look at may's non-existent face!
So after we polished off about half the restaurant's supply of raw fish, took a little field trip to the toilet for pictures :D

Imitating a certain SOMEONE. rack your brains, lads.

Suat Ning still thinking that we're imitating someone while we are actually trying to take an ordinary shot. How not surprising.

Suat Ning's thought: Eh so should i have another chawamushi, or another chawamushi? Hmmmm better have another chawamushi.

shoo cute.

This is after Tiara's call informing all of us faithful american idol followers that Matt Giraud got out of the finals. Obviously, C2 was elated. and Kai was being ice-queenish and not carrying about how depressed i felt.

AWWW MATT!
After paying the bill, sat on the comfy plush sofa and scared the uncle away with all our noise.

E.T. phone home!
Yeaaah so that thursday was wicked fun.
Friday jamming was cancelled and thus, spent the day doing absolutely NOTHING. thou is the epitome of the word BUM.

Emi's birthday surprise at ECP on satuday!
A hell difficult to organise. But we pulled through (no doubt due to my 'excellent' lying skills). Hope you enjoyed it! Had to leave early for a short acoustic set at Hal's, where in william and claudia picked me up.

OMG i am never sitting in a car with those two again. It is hazardous. TO MY LIFE.
Awesome fun tho :D Kudos to free peach mocktails!

There's this awful picture of me running back to the group after putting self-timer. with my gargatun ass covering up half the lens, but i will NOT put that picture up to save yours truly from further embarrasment.

Mighty fine to be with the usual bums once again. Ah the virtues of all-girls schools.

Today during school we ran 2.4. I swear it was one of the best moments of my life finishing the sixth/seventh? round and knowing that i scraped together a good grade. I'm pretty surprised Leon, who was my counter, didn't screw up my timing (GOOD ON YOU DINO!) but kenneth screwed up Suat's (*does swatting action). Which led to a rather heated outburst by suat ning towards ken and mrs tan afterwards... all's well, i hope.

So its goodbye to mass PEs and physical training for the girls! Go boys! Beat those awful chin-ups. :D

Was feeling kinda bleh today, probably cause of the unfortunate hiking incident yesterday which i shall not repeat. Highlight was repeating old SKINS lines with Manda. She is spiffay at impressions!

'Say goodbye to sunshine, sunshine!'

Went back with Tiara on the crowded crowded crowded MRT train and discussed all sorts of random crap. Ate at T1's Manpuku (haha tia!) and it was awesome! In love with the fruit tarts, really. Fruit tart city ftw!

I am sick. PW is what's killing me.

'You sidding sod!'

I leave you with that quote. Goodnight all.

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

You know me better than I know myself, and boy, i know myself pretty well.

Wake up,
you're the drama queen,
carry on like you're supposed to be,
get away,
hurry up,
Go on.

How long have you been in your bedroom?
Its been three days straight,
With your sheets and your pillow,
The clock on the wall's a reminder.
Just a reminder.

I know i shouldn't let it get to me,
But it does and who am i kidding.

This space is getting all dusty.

EVERYONE. BEWARE OF BUS 154.
So i was sitting on the bus on a sleepy friday morning, getting some snooze minutes in as usual, on the way to school. This whole bunch of lower-sec malay boys came up the bus and one sat next to me. Paid them no heed and went back to sleep for the sake of smaller eyebags.

First time i woke up, his arm was nudging my leg so i thought it was an accident and continued to sleep and listen to some tunes. Second time i woke up, HIS HAND WAS ON MY ASS. i swear. Scratch that, there was some GRABBING going on.

Needless to say, i yelled 'WTH ARE YOU DOING!' so him and his mates buggered off the bus real quick. It was a traumatic experience, to say in the least, but even more worrying that some 14-year-old boys are bus-hopping and feeling up some unfortunate people.

Next time i see him, someone's gonna get some fist in the balls for breakfast.

That aside.

I recall a rather memorable trip to Island Creamery with a lower-level creature, who goes by the name suat ning. HAHA. I'm sorry C2, i just had to say it. And don't say i don't have proof, cause SOMEBODY conked her head against the hanging Island Creamery sign three times in a little less than three hours, even though i kept warning her. Such a kutu, sometimes! Well someone's gotta provide the entertainment.

That white thing hovering above is the sign. Rather amazing, doncha think?

And although my mudpie looks like gobs of melted goo here, it is a little slice of heaven. Mudpies for the win!

We stole a bazillion stickers. Cause that's what everyone secretly goes there for. Now, I proudly introduce you to FUN WITH STICKERS 101 (brought to you by the award-winning authors, C1 & C2!)

As a make-shift mustache.
This is Suat Ning. Coughs. I really don't know what it is.

As very very fashionable earrings, see!

And random HC people behind us. There was this weirdo HC guy which made SN choke for hours on end.

Rather inproductive study session. Until Nick and sylvia came, we managed to empty the whole tank of iced water, steal a GAZILLION island creamery stickers and watch several movies on ze pod.

Nick and sylvia came later and we had a cup-sucking competition!

Suat Ning won, which just made her the biggest sucker (as coined by nick, whose mouth was too huge to suck the cup properly. BIG MOUTH HAHA.) Sylvia lost her wallet with 170buckeroos worth of stuff innit! And she wasn't even half-depressed about it. WOW.

This is what my weekend consisted off.

1. Mooching around the house and annoying the hell out of my mother.
2. Fruitless trips to GM and claudia's house to 'study'. Joke of the century, i might add.
3. Making pizza in claudia's kitchen and making a mess out of the oven like we always do. Tomato sauce splattered on your shirt is lot harder to get out than you think.
4. Stuffing my face with an assortment of high-fat, high-cholesterol, high-carb etc etc etc foods. Not that i really care anyway.
5. Decided to go for Cats:The Musical.
6. Decided not to go for Cats:The Musical (overpriced, lousy seats, lousy companyLOL I'M KIDDING LIZZ)
7. Met William and the rest of the lads and shot some hoops before a trip of Ice Cream Chefs (second to IslandCreamery, of course!)
8. Painted one line of the poem on my wall in gold paint and then scratched it off.
9. Screwed up praise and worship. I shall never play drums for service again.
10. Got told that Luki would only be coming back on 11th May...?!?!?! Wow nice. Now we can never ever get some decent jamming or a decent enough drummer for the youth team. Darn you, sugiarto.

School has made me a bit of a nervous wreck. Chinese CA AND Math CA in the same week?! I actually studied for chinese, but only because i left the whole book of math notes under my table and couldn't study for it D: I guess its hello to another fail. As if Ms Yoong needs another reason to hate me.

Anyway we had out Napfa Five Items on Monday and it went alright i guess. Its not that big a deal. Not as if the success of your future career depends on how many sit-ups you do, or how far you can jump (extremely ridiculous.)

Went to PS for the 50% sembawang sale! I've never been much of a fan of their music collection, but there was a couple of gems there going for a mere tenner. Managed to snag a Brian Setzer 1981-1989 record, Dirty Pretty Things 'Romance at short notice' and two The Dave Matthew's Band CDs. I shall eat nothing but grass for the rest of the month.

So far,Setzer is brilliant, DPT's is disappointing and The DMB is so-so.

THANK GOD FOR MUSIC.

I don't know about you, but I came here to party.

I am a buoy in the ocean of dancers,
To whom are you grooving too?
Joint hips convince,
what lips do not tell.

The boys are so good,
at making their faces to masks,
Yes they are magnificent,
Kings clad in jeans and too tight sweaters.

So i don't know about you,
but i came here to party tonight.
Party dresses and party sweats,
Floods in an empty room.

Cal is still wicked at arrangement.
Anyway yesterday's MM meeting was a bit bizarre. Our rather unprofessional choir almost made Mr. Rajoo tear out his hair. And it was even worse that i am playing the BONGO (yes percussionists, you may very well laugh your heart out now) for mass. This is certainly more than bargained for.

In serious need of jamming partners. Pronto.
I need more money (talk about being materialistic) to buy more records. Crikey its been way too long. HMV jacked up the price of Forever The Sickest Kids and i stupidly went to purchase it two weeks ago, and now the price is down by a tenner. But it IS a rather good record :D

Tim sent me some new Big Band music recommendations and they are truly the shizz. Lord please give me some rather undeserved and sudden Saxophone skills please, thanks.

School has been so-so: Running away from the Dustbin every history break like an artful dodger, learning nothing from my chinese mentor Virginia KATELYN and teasing ZY endlessly about him being a house husband. Speaking of which, Suat and I seem to have an innate ability to annoy the guts out of ZY. He totally abhors us! Its scary. Beware the wrath of the HH!

Kai called me a fair-weathered friend?! What bull. I am hurt.

Missed free cone day and i'm still bummed bout that. Why can't Island Creamery have a free cone day? Or a free mudpie day? FREE BAKED ALASKA DAY?!

Its raining now. Stormy weathers, heart-flighter.

Night all.

Wet Skin.

He was there,
and i didn't know,
but i loved him so.

I am exhausted. Weekends are supposed to be a week to catch up with homework and clock in a few hours of sleep, but not in my calendar.

As if the physical exertion on saturday wasn't enough (I am sunburnt to the bone from the bball games.), i went to sleepover at Bex's house. Of course, we don't SLEEP. More so, if Liz decides to come at 12 midnight after landing at the airport from INDIA. Don't ask me!

Slept for barely five hours and had to go to church. I've never really had a hangover, but i bet this is how it feels like. The worst part was the four-hour trek we had AFTER service, going up and down BThill in preparation for mount KK. WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?!

It was so bad today that in the end, the twenty-five-strong group had withered to a throng of exhausted ten, who actually completed the five flights of (apparently) 1000steps. It was sick! Dinner with mom and jie ains, and then home to nurse my throbbing tootsies.

I need to sleep. Or i shall snap at the certain someone more so than usual during history break tomorrow. DAMN. screw school.

*blog edit at 9:54pm

Oh and please. Stop being such a twat and annoying everyone in the vicinity. Your pathetic attempts to garner attention from us isn't working, thanks.
